Geometric 18 kt. gold and Brazilian amethyst ring by Roberto Burle Marx and Haroldo Burle Marx circa 1950s. In their collaboration which only lasted until the late 1960’s, Roberto Burle Marx was the primary designer and Haroldo was trained in lapidary work and gemology. After dissolving their partnership, Roberto ceased his involvement with jewelry and continued with his art, sculpture and abstract landscape designs.
