This is an outstanding example of of Gertrude and Otto Natzler’s collaborative work. This bowl has a rich glaze which varies from volcanic to mottled with beautiful rim definition. It was acquired from the estate of the late Senator Benton of Illinois, a major collector of American art and ceramics. This bowl is numbered and signed on the underside.
