Late Production Cantilever Chair by Richard Neutra

This classic 1930’s designed Neutra cantilever chair is an unauthorized, limited late production made in Italy in the 1970’s. Although unauthorized, it incorporates many features of the original chair, including the pivoting seat back and the flexible steel spring that attaches to the underside of the seat and bottom cross bar. This chair was on exhibition loan to ”The Amazing Neutras: The Architecture of Richard and Dion Neutra in Orange County, California”. An exhibition project of the Neutra Institute for Survival through Design curated by Dion Neutra.
