This is a huge and 8′ wide, hand carved model of a B-36 Peacemaker bomber airplane. Carved by hand by a former WW2 pilot from solid hard wood and hand assembled in 1949, it is a unique folk art airplane. The entire plane is finished in a metallic silver wash. Attached are four large eye hooks for hanging. The unusual rear seated propellors of this B-36 spin freely.
