A set of eight hand forged sterling silver tumblers in the Dot pattern by William Spratling. A similar set was purchased by Marilyn Monroe. Each tumbler is signed on the underside with the WS cypher. William Spratling’s unique blending of traditional Mexican Colonial and Pre-Columbian designs with modern forms have created a place for him amongst the Masters of 20th Century Modern Silver world wide. Numerous books have been written either by or about him and he was the subject of the film, “The Man From New Orleans”, in 1948.
