This is a Walter Lamb dining table with four matching dining chairs. It retains its original warm patina and glass. The chaire have new 100% cotton cording which is treated to resist mold and mildew. At the end of WW2, Walter Lamb was stationed in Hawaii. There he conceived the idea of using reclaimed surplus brass tubing from the naval yards to design the framework for outdoor furniture. He used cotton cording to form the support body. A few years later, his designs became part of the Brown and Jordan line.
